I think I'm going to dye my hair brown next month and get bangs. Then before D&M's wedding in October I'll get tons of blonde highlights again.

Am looking for some good hair products for teasing my hair... I heard they have some stuff at Aveda. Will have to check it out.

Also having birth control issues.

And my new job at Apple rocks... Monday will be my 4th week; all this time has just flown by.

Today is slower than usual. I've been on top of things at work so I'm pretty caught up. I've still got some projects to work on though.

So the coordinator is moving into the office upstairs and will be sitting next to me. But they are reconfiguring the office Thursday so that we will have a full cubicle wall between us. This is not good news for me. The good thing about it is that my boss is actually cracking down on this guy, finally. For 3 years now he's been getting away with doing NOTHING.

Yesterday I took Chancho to the doctor because he'd thrown up 3 times. Doctor gave him some shots and instructions for his diet and he seems fine today.

Husband sent flowers to my work yesterday out of the blue. It was so sweet. Definately made the receptionist jealous.

Sunday night we were having wine during the playoffs. We finished 2 bottles and I was drunk! Went to bed and had to get up to pee. Stumbling around in the dark, I ran into the edge of the bedroom door. Now have a bruise on my face and it is swollen as well. Not cute.

Kitties appointment went well yesterday. They are healthy. Juan Pablo hasn't lost his baby canines yet but his adult canines are grown in so I have to keep checking to make sure the baby teeth fall out; otherwise they'll have to pull them. And Chancho still has his baby canines and his adult ones are barely poking through the gums. Which is funny since he's about a pound heavier than JP. (okay when did I become a crazy cat lady?)

Today I was able to catch up on my work... I finally finished my never-ending to do list. I set up weekly one on ones with my boss which will be good so I can discuss anything I need to with him privately. I need to talk to him about my work load. I am eager to take on all the responsibilty he wants to give me but I also manage and back up the receptionist. Managing, I don't mind, but having to fill in for lunches and from 4-6 is becoming a problem because it sometimes leaves me only 4 hours to work. Also need to discuss the coordinator being so unreliable. He is making me and our department as a whole, look bad.

Saturday I have a baby shower to go to. The Vice President of my old company is due next month. She is a dear friend and mother figure to me. Her husband (President of the company) stopped by yesterday with his HR manager as I am a client of theirs now. It's funny how the tables have turned. I used to work for them; now they work for me. Cool! I have loyalty to their company though because the integrity they have, not just because they are friends.

Looking forward to football this weekend. Can't WAIT to see who makes the superbowl! Actually can't wait for the superbowl itself.

Husband is selling all of his motorcycle stuff. Yesterday he called me and told me that Doug Chandler had called about the pipe he was selling. I recognized the name as a professional racer... I knew his number was 10 and he rides a Kawasaki ZX10r like my husband used to. I knew he was a somewhat older guy whose not very fast anymore but we've seen him race several times. Anyway out of curiousity I looked him up to see what else I could find out about him. It was the highlight of Husband's day to be able to talk with one of his all-time favorite racers for about 40 minutes. I shipped the pipe out today.

Also Husband's friend called to tell us that Lost is ending after this season. Had to research that because although I think the show is ridiculously stupid, I've seen every episode because Husband is obsessed. So now I have to know what's going on.

Tonight is going to be movie night to make up for last night. I'll go to Best Buy and pick up some movies and make tacos for dinner! Husband's favorite. Looking forward to that.

Worked less than 3 hours on Monday and stayed home yesterday.  Thank God for sick pay.  I feel much better today.  But am not enjoying work.  I've got a lot to do today.  Coordinator is out and is unreliable as usual.  I may have to take on some of his responsibility in order to complete a project.  It's not really fair, and he should be fired in my opinion, but Boss is Boss and that's the way it is.

May still go home early and take advantage of being sick.

Husband made a deal that he would fix dinner once a week.  Tonight is his night... Can't wait to see how it turns out since last time he actually cooked for me (besides BBQ) was when we were dating and I was sick.

Saturday morning had my hair done at 9:30.  It looked absolutely perfect.  I loved the stylist at Regis.  Felt pretty in my new dress.  Wedding was perfect.  Bride was beautiful.  Brother looked stunning in his tux.  He was so nervous when my husband and I talked to him before the ceremony.  Am so proud of him; and I adore my new sister in law.   Nephew was adorable in his tux.  He is such a little man, and a very good son to my sister.  Was proud of him too.  Dad was amazing as the best man.  I thought very highly of my brother for choosing my dad instead of one of his buddies; it was so sweet.

Didn't go to Husband's holiday party as by the time the wedding was over his back was in a lot of pain.  Instead we stayed home and enjoyed a bottle of sauvignon blanc from New Zealand and watched a movie.

Yesterday watched playoff games at home and cleaned apartment.  Finished all the bills and shredding that we'd gotten behind in.  Then went shopping at Wal-Mart.  And went to movies to see Pan's Labyrinth which was really good.  Was getting sick yesterday and am sick today.  Boss and 2 coordinators for my department are out.  Don't know if it's okay for me to go home sick then. 

Kitties have been driving me crazy at home.    Last night I had to cry out of frustration when I was not feeling well and trying to sleep, but they were so rambunctious that I couldn't get a moment of peace.  Husband tried to lock them out of the bedroom but their scratching on the door was relentless.  Juan Pablo always sleeps with me and though I was irritated last night, husband said I had to let him sleep there because he's used to it, and much as husband tried, he couldn't get him to sleep on the other side of the bed.

Weather is shit today. Husband and I got up early to work out. Stepped outside to walk over to the apt. complex workout room and saw it was raining. So depressing. Husband is pushing me to work out and eat well because of the Hometown Hotties thing. He is sure I can win; I doubt if I'll even be a semifinalist. Scrambled egg and turkey bacon for breakfast. Then just had a cup of oatmeal because I was starved.

We had about 2 months worth of dry cleaning that needed to be picked up today, but my car is in San Jose and Husband works in Fremont. So I asked Controller if I could borrow his car and he surprisingly let me! It is a new red Cadillac CTS with manual tranny. A little nervous about driving it at first, but it is very nice to drive. Was fun. Threw drycleaning on bed and shut door so kitties wouldn't tear it up.

Last night made wonderful, flavorful chicken with broccoli. Was planning on spaghetti and meatballs tonight but husband said no carbs. Will make beef stew instead. Yummy!

I told Kelly she is ridiculous for getting restylane injections in her lips but she did anyway. She looks super funny today! Didn't laugh at her too much, but she can't even smile because her lips are so big right now!

I share an office with a guy and we're always adjusting the thermostat on each other; we finally agreed to leave it in the middle, but I'm still cold... Even have this little heater fan on my legs and my jacket on.
